The Brief
Wallace Building Contractors delivered the concrete, reinforcing, and associated fitout works for the seismic strengthening of 8 Kent Terrace, a prominent commercial building located opposite the Embassy Theatre.
Our scope included the construction of new reinforced concrete foundations, columns, and shear walls to support the installation of structural steel K-bracing throughout the building. Additional works included in-situ concrete floor slab infills and structural strengthening elements designed to significantly improve the building's seismic performance and bring it closer to current earthquake standards.
