Multi-Storey & High-Rise Concrete Construction

High-rise and multi-storey concrete construction demands a level of expertise, planning precision, and coordination that only comes with experience. Wallace Building Contractors has been delivering multi-storey concrete structures in Wellington since the 1970s — including carparks, apartment buildings, commercial towers, and mixed-use developments.

Our multi-storey concrete construction capability includes all aspects of the structural build: formwork design and installation, reinforcing steel placement, concrete placing and finishing, ComFlor composite flooring systems (through our specialist division Wellington Studwelders), stair and lift core construction, and all associated above-ground structural concrete work. We manage the full concrete frame from ground floor to roof level, coordinating directly with the main contractor’s programme.

Notable multi-storey projects completed by Wallace Building Contractors include the Wellington Airport’s 10-storey carpark and concourse — at 48,000m² one of the largest buildings constructed in Wellington — along with a range of inner-city apartment buildings, commercial office towers, and mixed-use developments across the greater Wellington region.
