Wallace Building Contractors delivered the foundation and structural concrete works for the Kate Sheppard Place development, a significant commercial project located within the heart of Wellington's transport network.
Market conditions have paused construction of the building above but a 16 storey commercial building is in planning.
Our scope included the construction of major foundation beams and reinforced concrete foundation elements built around and over extensive existing underground services. The project required complex reinforcing installation and careful sequencing to accommodate the challenging site conditions while maintaining operations within the live bus depot below.
