The Brief
Wallace Building Contractors delivered the concrete construction works for Republic Apartments, a major multi-stage residential development comprising 138 apartments across two towers.
Constructed over two stages, the development featured a building footprint of approximately 2,400m² and incorporated three levels of basement and podium car parking. The structures were built using reinforced concrete shear walls and Stahlton flooring systems, creating robust and resilient apartment buildings designed for long-term performance.
During construction of Republic 1, Wallace worked closely with the developer to bring forward construction of the predominantly car park structure forming part of Republic 2. This innovative staging approach accelerated the overall programme, allowing earlier completion of key infrastructure, facilitating settlement of completed apartments, and bringing forward handover dates across the wider development.
