The Brief
Wallace Building Contractors delivered both the concrete works and ComFlor flooring installation for the Southern Cross Hospital expansion, a significant healthcare development designed to increase capacity and enhance medical facilities within the Wellington region.
Our scope included foundations, lift and stair core structures, in-situ concrete walls, ComFlor floor slabs, and architectural concrete off form concrete walls requiring specialised formwork and finishing techniques. The project involved approximately 2,500m³ of concrete and required careful planning and execution to meet the demanding standards of a live healthcare environment.
