The Brief
Wallace Building Contractors delivered extensive concrete works for the Summerset Kenepuru Village development, a large-scale retirement village designed to provide high-quality living and recreational facilities for residents.
Our scope included a range of structural and civil concrete works throughout the village, including the construction of a new swimming pool and associated infrastructure. In total, approximately 5,000m³ of concrete was placed across the project, requiring careful planning and coordination to deliver the works within an operational retirement village environment.
Undertaking major construction activities within a live village required a strong focus on safety, communication, and minimising disruption to residents while maintaining programme requirements and construction quality.
